In this age of technology students are use to many stimuli keeping them entertained and holding their attention through the day. The classroom can then become a very boring place.
As a teacher what i can do is try to bring a variety of stimulus into the classroom and use varied teaching
methodologies. ICT can be use to enhance my teaching, by using powerpoint to make handouts or to use as a visual aid. You can use video clips and podcasts to break up theory work and keep the students interested. The use of ICT may also aid in the different learning styles of the students. When students have access to computers in the classroom through the help of the interent and other sources they can research their own answers and be in control of their own learning with the teacher as a facilitator.
